I am Alice Irma Ebika Oluohu easily addressed as Alice Ebika.
I am a model passionate about sickle cell awareness.
I have also participated in Paegents inclusive Miss Tourism Nigeria world.
On Feb 14th 2017,I became the face and brand ambassador to Golden view hotels amaokpala, Anambra state.
Projects done and participated on so far:
As a young girl passionate about charity and Child health advocacy, with the platform given to me as Miss tourism zamfara 2015, I founded and kicked off an awareness child health campaign on sickle cell anaemia with my first awareness project on social media platforms tagged “Sickle cell no Joke!”.; The social media awareness was conducted through inspirational and educative daily posts on sickle cell anaemia during the month of September (sickle cell awareness month).
I hosted a road walk and an awareness seminar at Oko,Anambra state on sickle cell anaemia aimed at educating youths living with sickle cell anaemia. During the seminar, health talks was given to youths by Medical pratictioners from Nnamdi azikiwe university teaching hospital nnewi,Inspirational speeches were also presented by successful citizens living with sickle cell anaemia.
Alongside free medical check up on survivors and also free genotype test on participants.
On June 15th 2016:I went on air at Blaze FM educating listeners including survivors on best ways to manage this disease in order to live a successful life.
On May 2016, I also also visited The staff secondary school at Federal polytechnic oko, Anambra state,enlightening the students on sickle cell anaemia.
On June 25th 2016, I was one of the guest speakers invited by the Anambra state ministry of health to the Anambra state sickle cell day where I spoke to students and survivors alongside the honorable commissioner of health, Anambra state and host of other guest speakers educating the people of Anambra on sickle cell anaemia and ways to decrease themortality rate of sickle cell survivors.
